Spelling
Washpool Lodge is situated on lush, pasture improved and irrigated river flats and gently undulating country providing the ideal environment for spelling. Spelling services include rugging, feeding twice daily, veterinary treatments if required and constant supervision by our resident staff.
WP Spelling has over 100 stables in modern blocks, 80 individual agistment stables in lush quarter acre paddocks, as well as 20 five acre paddocks.
Breaking In
At WP Spelling we utilise years of equine experience in varying disciplines including: eventing, showjumping and racing to give your horse the best start. Under the direction of Andrew Cooper, an Elite Australian Eventing rider, our team of professional breakers will tailor a program to suit your horses responses ensuring a positive start for their racing career.
Pre-Training
Our pre-training is tailored to individual trainer’s requirements. With the range of facilities at WP Spelling we are able to offer a variety of pre-training options. We regularly update both owners and trainers on their horse’s progression throughout their preparation for the track.
